When a gas seepage from the seabed close to a platform is revealed, it is important to establish the origin of this gas to understand the reservoir and integrity of the wells barriers. Stinger has developed a cost efficient and safe underwater sampling tool for the offshore Oil and Gas industry. The gas sampling can be conducted from both fixed and floating facilities using a MicroROV, sampling kit and two operators. Sampled gas or water are bagged and sent to laboratory for geochemical analysis, interpretation and final reporting.
