This year Stinger has strengthened our team with several new employees. We started the year off by hiring Torgrim Skaustein as our new Chief Operating Officer.
He started his career with maintaining aircraft engines focusing on quality with a LEAN mindset. For two years running Torgrim and his team were finalists in “Pratt & Whitney Leadership Awards for Innovative Projects”.
After 13 exciting years in the air Torgrim decided to join Oceaneering where he quickly was thrown into the deep waters of the subsea world. Torgrim was given the responsibility of large projects and contact with Oceaneering’s customers. In 2019 he was nominated as “Project Manager of the Year, Oceaneering Worldwide”.
Torgrim is highly focused on a solid and healthy working environment and is engaged in welfare and social activites. He enjoys travelling, snowboarding, basketball, fixing cars, and to impress his wife with his carpentry skills.
Torgrim joined Stinger Technology in April 2021, and we are very excited to have him onboard as our COO!
