Jack began his career in Norway providing survey and acoustic positioning support to the subsea construction industry after graduating with a master’s degree in hydrographic survey. After working in the industry both onshore and offshore he strengthened his technical skills by completing an apprenticeship in electrical and electronic maintenance engineering. After a stint as a navigator and node technician onboard seismic exploration vessels, Jack gained experience operating and maintaining several types of world-leading survey-grade AUVs before finding his place a little closer to home with Stinger Technology AS where he has recently joined our team of ROV pilot/engineers.
In his spare time, Jack has been kept busy with renovations and training his dog but has recently taken up golf which he enjoys on the days that the ball goes where it’s supposed to.
