Learn how Equinor and the energy industry are harnessing underwater drones at this exciting live event!

Wednsday 12.th June

Here’s how Equinor and the energy industry will utilize underwater drones.

Underwater drones are rapidly making their mark in the offshore industry. We invite you to a spectacular event in Tau in connection with the TAC Challenge 2024, an international student competition for underwater robotics. Come and hear how Equinor and Total Energies will leverage underwater drones, get the latest updates from the industry itself, and, most importantly, have the opportunity to meet and interact with future international experts.

According to Equinor, underwater drones are an invaluable technology in the future vision for the Norwegian continental shelf. Successful autonomous subsea inspections have already been conducted, and the military uses similar technology to investigate and monitor underwater fiber on the Norwegian continental shelf. There is no doubt that underwater drones will be part of everyday subsea operations in the years to come. So, what could be more natural than taking the opportunity to stay professionally updated in Tau in connection with the TAC Challenge 2024 – where 200 international students compete and the industry gathers?
