A new patent pending method for monitoring leaks from subsea valves have been filed by Stinger Technology. When having pressurised equipment and pipelines, including flanges and valves, there is always a danger that leaks occur. Leaks can occur spontaneously or caused by an event. There is a need to monitor such exposed areas to detect leaks early, and to monitor the development of a leak when it has occurred. Link to presentation.
