We should leave only bubbles!

Hundreds of oil platforms in the North Sea are facing removal in the near future. When installed, not much thought was put into the end of their productive lives – but international rules (OSPAR) require that they be decommissioned and entirely removed. The pollution brought to the surface and left behind on the seabed needs to be investigated. Are we up for this challenge? Stinger develops unique robotic fly-out systems to investigate and sample sediments in the most challenging spaces and waters. On-going project includes a subsea interchangeable tooling box for interior survey inside a number of large oil storage tanks sitting on the seabed. This in parallel with the production and offloading.
